The State of the Yoga Studio Oct 2023
The State of the Studio Address.... Occasionally I like to update folks on how the studio is doing since we are a small business & we are a new small business still! It has been almost exactly a year &a half since we opened our doors in March of 2022. Technically it was still a pandemic year because patrons had to wear masks for another month! Last year was a scary year & I wasn't sure if we would make it but we did! This year has been WAY better.
As a yoga studio I'd like it to get to the point where the yoga classes & the memberships actually pay for our rent & teacher pay. The way it is currently, yoga classes are not covering everything & my personal work with clients has been helping pay rent & teachers.
I'd like to try a few things in the future to make sure this doesn't continue to happen.
Here's what I'm thinking & here is how YOU could help; First I'm holding a fall membership sale! Available to non-current members, you will be able to get $40 off either your first month of an auto pay membership, $40 off of a 3-month membership, or $40 off of a 12-month membership!
I'm also holding a clearance sale of our summer clothing & a few other items. Help us clear our inventory by purchasing cute shorts, tops, socks or yoga props!
Summer was really slow & that was a huge contributor to the general state of the yoga studio. We just started our fall schedule & added many new classes including 3 new hot classes! Please enroll in these classes & help our little Studio keep going! (Also please DONT cancel your membership during the summer!)
In March of '24 I'd like to start our very first Rising Tide Yoga teacher training! I have always loved teaching teachers. This has been a dream of mine for several years. I can see it coming to fruition & only have a few more steps to take more info coming soon I promise!
I would also like to start some more comprehensive Wellness programs & wellness plans that students can take part in to enhance their overall wellbeing; more info soon!
